Our Process

Goals and Objectives

At Gateway, our priority is to provide services and solutions that meet our client's goals and expectations. Only by listening to our clients can we be an effective partner and provide the desired results.

During this initial phase our account manager and instructional designers will interact regularly with our client gathering information, identifying the learner, and deciding on appropriate courses and solutions.

At the conclusion of this process, initial budgets, project management documents and milestones will be prepared and mutually agreed to.

Analysis and Design

After the initial client goals and objectives have been identified, our instructional design team will define the learning outcomes of each course along with the proper structure and sequence of the learning content.

Interface Design

Based on the Instructional Design teams recommendations and the client's desires, sample user interfaces based on a central color scheme and client branding, will be designed and presented to the client for feedback. Based on client feedback a final user interface will be designed and mutually agreed to.

Storyboard Development

After the user interface has been agreed on, our instructional designers, working closely with the subject matter experts, will design a working storyboard. The storyboard is checked for technical, typographical and grammatical errors and ensured that the content matches the requirements specified by the client.

Multimedia Development

After each section of the storyboard has been approved, our production team creates the necessary multi-media content such as video, voice-overs and graphics to complement the learning process. As each multi-media element is created, it is incorporated into the storyboard for final approval. Alternatively if the client provides multi-media content Gateway will provide specifications and perform incorporation into the storyboard

LMS ingestion and beta testing

After the final course storyboard has been approved, the course will be uploaded to the LMS for client review and beta testing. During this period, the client will have the opportunity to review the final course and provide feedback. In addition, our Gateway will test ecommerce systems and when necessary, employ a 'sample audience' to participate in the course.

At the conclusion of the beta testing period, all feedback will be analyzed and necessary corrections will be incorporated into the course.

Final Quality Check, client acceptance and Launch

After all corrections have been made and final deployment documents have been agreed to, the course will go "live".
